Description

1961 aerial view of Buttercup Dairy on Boyle Road, Terryville. Buttercup Dairy was noted as one of the finest dairy farms in Suffolk County in the 1950's. Note Scappy's Farm on west side of Boyle Road and Half Mile Road heading east from Old Town Road. There was still extensive farming in the area.
